Even though this train didn't belong to VSG CDO it was my childhood favorite train I loved it ever since SCR operated it as VSG BZA exp. It's extension to HWH was a big surprise but one thing always irked me was the slip I always wanted to see it run as a full train end to end. Finally after more than two decades of wait it's going to get fulfilled.
Only bad feeling is not able to see it with Twin GY Alcos and LHB combo but still it's good that we'll atleast see EMD and LHB combo for it.

No rake standardization as bookings are not suspended so most probably 8 to 9 SL coaches will be there.

There are actually two pitlines at Vasco. Old one which can accommodate max 20 LHB and has catwalk on both the sides, second one which can fit 22 coach LHB rakes but it only has full catwalk on one side shared by the old pitline and on the other side catwalk is available only for a few metres so only the Vasco Azara LHB parcel rake undergo PM on that one and it haa full 22 coach LHB rake.
Vasco pitlines are not there where you say they are at the station itself.

SC is already getting 17039/40... Better to detach 18047/48 from 17603/04 Slip and run it daily... Why the hell is SER so lazy? Once slip arrangement at GTL is done away with, even the overall duration (delays) can be reduced... If SER is useless and cannot handle this train, better to give it to SWR... not much SWR trains to East anyways, so let SWR take over... SWR is far far better in management than SER any given day...

I will be reaching Dadar central by Deccan queen from Pune around 1015 Am. Can anyone please suggest me whether to take a cab or local train upto Bandra and then a auto? Thanks in advance.

Best approach is to take kali peeli taxi from Dadar CR to BDTS. It will save time in comparison to Uber. Max 45 min drive, not more than 8km. Try to pay by meter, mostly they ask inflated fares. Decide according to situation.

Travelling from Dadar towards bandra will be easy I guess, as trains will not be crowded towards that direction.
