The railway is currently experimenting with demanding trains from every region. This is not good.

The Howrah - Jamalpur and Mahabodhi Express are both charming and dedicated trains for their regions (Jamalpur and Gaya respectively).

If the Mahabodhi (dedicated to Gaya) were to be extended to Bhagalpur, then the danger of extension would also be present for the Vikramshila (dedicated to Bhagalpur).

The railway should consider introducing a new train. Why is the railway trying to hurt the feelings of railfans and passengers of these dedicated trains?

Howrah - Jamalpur aur Mahabodhi Express dono apne region (Jamalpur aur Gaya respectively) ki pyaari aur dedicated trains hain.

Agar Mahabodhi (Gaya ke liye dedicated) ko Bhagalpur tak extend kiya gaya to Vikramshila (Bhagalpur ke liye dedicated) ko bhi extension ka khatra hoga.

Railway ko naye train introduce karne ke baare mein sochna chahiye. Railway in dedicated trains ke Railfans aur passengers ki sentiments ko hurt kyun kar raha hai?

Mahabodhi Express should not be extended. Our SSM, DOS, BBU, AUBR will lose their GNWL.
This train is always full. It would be better to keep it running to Gaya only.
We want a new train from Bhagalpur to NDLS via Gaya.
This is the only train left for us with GNWL.

Please let the Mahabodhi Express stay at Gaya only.

The Kavi Guru train never stopped at Siuri.
It started from Bolpur.
The Kulik Express used to start from Siuri.
The Kulik was taken away from Siuri, but they got the Sealdah Fast Memu in return.

The Mahabodhi extension scenario depends on the infrastructure and the extension plan. There are two possible cases:

**Case 1) PM shift from ECR to ER**

If ECR wants to give the PM of Mahabodhi to ER, then ER will first reject the PM at Bhagalpur because there is very little space at BGP CDO and the 4th pit was built for Amrit Bharat and is already electrified. So, a Mahabodhi extension in ER territory is possible in Malda, as it is the nearest CDO from BGP and has space and slots available. All available rakes can be accommodated in Malda.
Note: This is just an assumption.

**Case 2) PM shift from ECR to NR**

If the PM of Mahabodhi shifts to Delhi, there are many options available apart from Bhagalpur. It can go to Dumka, Godda, Rampurhat, Azimganj, Jasidih/Madhupur, and Asansol.

Note: These are just assumptions, and I do not support the extension of the Mahabodhi express. I am sharing this information because the Railway Board has expressed a desire to extend the Mahabodhi.

13023 should remain via BGP. If it goes via JSME, the connection from Gaya to Bhagalpur will be lost.

13023/24 is the only daily express train from BGP route to Gaya.

Instead of diverting the Gaya-Howrah Express, demand a new train via JSME.
