25 Years of Unmatched Service.

Celebrated 25th Birthday of Most Beloved train of Bhopali Railfans, 12155/56 Shaan E Bhopal SF Express yesterday. It was a simple yet special moment for us, due to Lok Sabha Election's COC in place, we did not get permission to celebrate this huge occasion on grand scale.

still we showed our love and affection towards this train by placing new belly boards mentioning the 25 years of service, cake cutting and rose distribution to Crew, Railway employee and Passengers of GS and SL .

Due to time constraints and work commitment some of our fellow RFs and Officials were not able to make it to the event but they joined us digitally to be a part.

Special Invitation card was designed by for Railway Officials to be a part of this event. All designs were made by Hardik Pathak.

This time its the number of 12139/40 Mumbai Nagpur Sewagram SF Express which got LHB Rakes from 25.05.2024 from Nagpur as 12140 and 26.05.2024 i.e Today,

Originally in its ICF Era. it had 4 GS, 12 Sleeper 5 3rd AC, 1 Second AC Coach, Consisting of 24 Coaches, which has been reduced to 22 Coaches in LHB, also including the drastic reduction in Sleeper Coaches, which jumped from 12 to 4, which is pretty disappointing, Oh well. nothing much can be done Now, Hopefully Railways reduced Sleeper Coaches by maybe 4 or 5 Coaches more.

The Loco which brought 12140 was AJNI/WAP-7/37575. While returning, Today's link is BSL WAP4 22876.

They are providing bedrolls free of cost in 3ACE also and converted 3 berths into storage racks for the coaches manufactured after April 2023. The fare difference in 3ACE is 7% less then 3AC and IR motive is that SL class passrngers should pay higher fare and upgrade into 3ACE and 3AC to 2AC so they are increasing 2AC from 1 coach 2-3 coaches in LHB rakes. 3ACE is not for 3AC passengers.

If like that they have play cleverly starting price difference of 3AE is less than 3A by at least 20-30% starting with out Bed rolls and after 1 year when all SLs decreased they can increase rates by providing Bed rolls extra and other things but this is very very disgusting which will blame IR

Generally AC Failure cases me windows ko hi break kia jata h..
That narrow gate is not sufficient..
its a long corridor, only gate pax will get releif not the middle ones..

once back in 2008 when i was traveling from vizag to nzm in dakshin link express..
AC was not working after trying so many times by technician..
Then he come and said we need to break windows bcoz its not repairable..
However pax didn't wanted as they shout to fix it..
Our train got halted at itarsi bcoz of some derailment of freight near Bhopal hence at etarsi it halted for more than hour..
Utilising the time
Etarsi staff and onboard staff repair (whatsoever) and ac started working however cooling was not good but its bearable (without using bedsheet/blanket)

Doubt whether a coach with 70 passengers will be able to get air by opening the door. The space is little near the entry. It is clearly a criminal offense but we have to think about all the passengers as well. Since there are very few outlets into the contained part of the AC coach, the place will be out of breathable air very soon.
