The above request can be heard in the most efficient way as mentioned below.
Since SWR is planning to extend SBC-ERS intercity to Mysuru in order to reduce the load on Bengaluru station. Here is my proposed timing in both the directions which will reduce the load by 90% in Chamundi express in both the directions and people and pass holders can travel comfortably. I would suggest that instead of extending the train give the train another number and name to have RSA so that the large number of reserved coaches can be converted into unreserved keeping D1, D2, C1 & C2 as reserved only.
The...

MYS-SBC-ERS Timings:
MYS:- 07.00 AM Dep
SBC:- 10.00 AM Arr 10.15 AM Dep
ERS:- 09.00 PM Arr
ERS-SBC-MYS Timings:
ERS:- 07.00 AM Dep
SBC:- 05.45 PM Arr 06.00 PM Dep
MYS:- 9.00 PM
Moving Chamundi express to 6.30 pm slot and 9.30 pm arrival at MYS.
Two advantages:-
1) Since many years the MYS people have been demanding a new train in the evening time from SBC and in the morning time from MYS. This will solve that purpose and SWR need not arrange a new rake for it and can reuse this rake leading to the most efficient utilization of the rakes.
2) Will reduce the platform, sick line or pit lines utilization for this train and the empty slot can used to serve any other train.
