Also one more suggestion until the bypass materializes. Railways should have separate engines for Pune to Daund and Daund to Manmad section for a train. As soon as train coming from Pune stops at Daund, there should be a parallel process of detaching the engine towards Solapur end of the train and attaching another engine at Pune/Manmad end of the train. This way they can reduce the turnaround time at Daund Junction from some 20-30 min to just 5 min. The detached engine can then be attached for next train which has a reversal at Daund.
