Dear on 29th of August I have booked a Sleeper ticket from LTT - KCVL Train no -22113 for the same day travel with Premium Tatkal fare - Rs:1405 through IRCTC APP and once I reached the station I able to know that the flood in Mumbai stopped the movement of all trains. So I waited almost 16 hours and then I cancelled the ticket because the station people not given any proper information as the train will start or not. Then I log in to IRCTC website and cancelled the ticket and filed the TDR. Then I have booked a fresh ticket for LTT-TVC through Current Reservation. The other passengers who are booked the ticket from the counter all got the full refund for the LTT - KCVL train. But my case was different as I booked through the IRCTC website. more... the update from the railway regarding the refund for the ticket. On 5th September I received a mail from IRCTC showing that I am not eligible for the refund of the ticket. Could you please tell me why it happened as if a Counter ticket person is getting full refund of the fare and I booked through the IRCTC website and I am getting zero refund. Please explain if you can???!!! as paid the dynamic fare of RS 1405 instead of Rs 600 for a sleeper ticket.
