@all:
There are some changes coming to the PNR Forum.
1. All PNRs will be anonymized, i.e. you won't see who posted the PNRs or search PNRs by Traveller. This is to better protect the confidentiality of travelling members and their travel plans. However, members will still be able to search their OWN posted PNRs, just like now.
.
2....
more... "Linked PNR Entry#" in the Trip Diary will be seen ONLY by the member who posted the PNR. The reason for this is the same as the above. You will not be able to directly link members to PNR Entries.
.
3. The "Post PNR" link will be removed. Waitlisted/Confirmed PNRs will AUTOMATICALLY be posted for Prediction (without the name of the member who posted the PNRs). The reason for this is that the extra "Post PNR" link is not understood by new site visitors, and so they never post their PNRs for prediction. Once again, posted PNRs will be masked, and anonymized.
.
4. Due to the above change, the number of PNRs available for prediction/stamp will increase. But it is NOT compulsory to predict ALL PNRs. Just predict whatever trains you feel confident about. Same thing with stamping. IRI members are encouraged to participate here AFTER their important priorities are taken care of.
.
5. PNR Prediction details will automatically be seen within the PNR Status page - this is just for convenience. Every time a member/guest checks the latest status of his/her PNR, prediction data will be available under the "PNR Status".
.
Thanks.
