I don't know brother I am not in gadag now if I was then sure I will be posting about it.. Ballari Hosapete developed for some extent cause they are profitable locations for UBL division from where UBL earn and use it of 50% to self station UBL and another 15% to both HPT BAY and 10% to UBL city surrounding area like Navalur Dharwad only left with 25% in that all other stations should share like this goes means how. Do you saw in UBL division some where have PM facility except UBL & VSG station? In MYS division at least ASK got some extent of PM facility but not like MYS. But in UBL division each train have to start from UBL if that place not conveniently near to UBL then no trains to that place. SUR GDG express CR introduce first and made strictly to terminate at GDG...
more... but UBL can't see GDG jn development so that train extended to UBL and made it late to reach back SUR night reducing it's patronage running it behind a passenger upto SUR.. now trying SUR GDG demu also but they not permitting that one neither to HPT or UBL. Only one terminating train from GDG now if ppl demand means silly reasons SWR give about shortage of water etc etc SWR can't arrange water for GDG ? Now in this budget arranging water for UBL jn from karnataka water board that it can't do for GDG such partiality SWR does not only with GDG with other stations too. If Gadag become important junction is UBL going to loose it's popularity? I think it's not but future will tell once Gadag gets all its lines connected to it like yalvigi and new proposed Krishna after loosing wadi and Harpanhalli. And new line should propose from Gadag to Sangola Maharastra via Nargund Ramdurg Mudhol Jhamkhandi athani to sangola it will be popular one..
