As far as I have seen, these people crowd at the station, bus depot, and all streets for as long as they wish. For this big occasion, railways should have run more trains to evacuate devotees faster. May be, building a few more loop lines and pit lines would ease the situation. Having a few spare DEMUs would have helped. Ideally, PVR should have at least a couple of dedicated pit lines and more loop lines to park passenger trains. Looking forward, a new line is already on cards to connect Lonand-Phaltan line with PVR. Further, in line with this govt., PVR's importance as a tourist destination is on a fast growth path. Soon it may get direct connectivity with TPTY, PURI, Dwarka/Okha, and remaining metro cities and devotional places.
