Introduction of a faster train is an excellent move. But it should have been through a new daily train, not by cancelling existing train (though it was split train, via MAQ etc).
Mysore had daily train to Karwar before introduction of Kunigal route. Then, it became 4 days a week. Now completely lost connection. Not only Mysore, Ramanagaram Mandya also lost the train link to MAQ and coastal areas.
It would be better if a new daily train is introduced between SBC and Karwar via Mysore, MAQ.
