PGT Divn has got 100-110 MPS in 80% of the PGT MAJN Section as compared to the 80-85 MPS in the majority of TVC-SRR section under TVC Divn. But, hopefully, the MPS would be revised once the doubling finishes in both the Alleppey/Kottayam lines paving way for better speed for SF Trains like Kerala Exp..
Great. But i strongly recommend to avoid immediate intermediate halts for any train to run on time. if train stops for every 10 KM what is use of a SF? especially for a train which is going for 1000+ KMS stop should add after 50 Kms only. and IR has to make a MoU with state Govt RTCs to run special buses from near by villages to main point to avoid un necessary halts. this will increase revenue of State RTC also. as i know from Srikakulam we have dedicated SF bus to VSKP for the passengers of Godavari even Visakha halts there. but i am not sure still the bus is running or not. but that bus reaches VSKP before 1 Hr to Godavari time to station and pax are also happy. and one bus leaves from Station to Srikakulam after Godavari morning arrival. If train is late bus also... more...
leaves late. Of Course GODAVARI is KING of VSKP-SC area and it arrives always before time.
Yes..Totally agree..Initially Kerala had very limited stops. But, these sick politicians ask for stops every nook & corner & sadly Kerala Exp is not spared as well. Hopefully, they would review the patronage of every halting station & remove the unwanted stops in future.
