See, the major problem with the people of SSM is that they are not able to digest the fact
1. Despite having more train stoppages District HQ (SSM) is lagging behind a Sub Division (DOS).
2. They have tried their best to underestimate the connectivity & passenger potential of DOS (but the fact is although DOS is just a sub division but the road/rail connectivity is much better than few District HQ of Bihar).
3....
more... DOS is unofficial Junction point for the passengers of Jharkhand & Aurangabad District.
4. Due to strong (better than ours) political presence SSM might get better passenger amenities & stoppage of trains but what about footfall?
Although this is not a fair comparison because District HQ (SSM) have their own advantages (always there is an edge/priority) but still our Sub Division (DOS) have given outstanding revenue. Proud to be a resident of DOS.
Comparison b/w two District HQ railway station will be fair as they lie in the same hierarchy but a Sub Division always comes a level down in the hierarchy.
