The most utter crap thing is people comparing the silver line with vande bharath, one is a rail line and the other is a train.... From understanding things I believe if for silver line land acquisition is needed, then for any other alternative lines in Kerala will also require land acquisition. How long can we utilise the existing lines with full capacity..... In future the demand will increase and there will be pressure for new trains and when the only trunk lines in KL reach a Saturation.... New lines will have to be constructed....for that land will have to be taken....... VB for the time being might be a relief for people who cry for a VB in Kerala but not a permanent solution to the travel woes in Kerala. . . ..
