It is only during morning time. The problem is trains terminate here and Railways takes a LOT of time to remove those trains from the platforms. For eg, the Krishak and Pushpak often remain standing for over an hour before being removed from the platforms. The Chitrakoot Express often remains standing for five plus hours and goes back as Lucknow - Barauni Express. And in the afternoon, when stuff like Shatabdi, Intercities from Jhansi, Agra, Meerut and Gorakhpur come, the platforms fill up fast.
It is true, it is not feasible...
more... for trains to come to LJN and undergo a loco reversal like in the old days at CERTAIN TIMES OF THE DAY. I have seen Barauni Lucknow often being stranded at Aishbagh just to wait for platform at LJN. That being said, Lucknow Jn is empty many a time, especially come post midnight. For eg, some trains can again come to LJN and undergo the proper loco reversal thing if they are coming at post midnight time since the station is a ghost town then.
