Check the turn around time at BST. With the current time table, can't be done. It has 40 kph average speed and near about crawls between SLN - AY. Add to it useless halts at Gaur and Tinich which consume more time [ no other express train stop there ]. I would argue this train can't even run in it's current avatar. It has a shitty starting time, too early and regularly comes up half empty, if not fully empty. It used to originally return to Allahabad main station but that created delays as high as 4 hours. So now, it returns to "Prayagraj Sangam" but still gets delayed. To make things worse, IR instead of adding sane things like AC Chair Car adds a AC 2 Tier. Who is going to spend so much money in such a crawling train that regularly gets delayed? Better to even remove SL coaches...
more... and just replace them with 2S versions. That is the only place where I have seen people actually booking and travelling. This isn't a train where the journey is long enough that you can sleep, so SL or 2A don't make sense. What makes sense is 2S or CC [ the latter of which it lacks].

Behtar hai SL coaches ko hatakar unki jagah 2S versions laga dein. Wahan hi logon ko booking aur safar karne ke liye aate hai. Yeh train itna lamba safar nahi hai jisme aaram se so sakte ho, isliye SL ya 2A ka koi matlab nahi hai. 2S ya CC hi sense banati hai [jiski yeh train lack karti hai].
