counter is allocated for booking instant tickets to Mumbai and other cities. However, a strong network of touts operates there, making it difficult for passengers to secure tickets. Many passengers complain about being unable to book tickets even after waiting in line overnight, with touts booking tickets before them. Two inspectors from the Gorakhpur Railway Vigilance visited the station following a complaint about ticket touting. They spoke to passengers and received complaints from three individuals who had been waiting in line for two to three nights for Mumbai tickets. They were told that tickets were booked even though they were at the front of the line.

aur dusre cities jaane wali train ke liye tatkal ticket booking ke liye alag se counter reserve kiya gaya hai, lekin dalalon ka itna strong network hai ki passengers ko ticket milna mushkil hai. Bahut saare passengers complain karte hain ki raat bhar line mein wait karne ke baad bhi ticket book nahi ho pata hai, touts unke pehle tickets book kar lete hain. Ticket touting ki complaint milne ke baad, Gorakhpur Railway Vigilance ke do inspectors station pe aaye. Unhone passengers se baat ki aur teen logo ne complaint ki ki Mumbai ke tickets ke liye platform pe 2-3 raat se line mein lage hue hain. Pehle aur dusre number pe hone ke baad bhi, counter pe jaane par bataya ja raha hai ki tickets book ho chuke hain. Waiting tickets le lo.
