New Jalpaiguri–Haldibari section of NF Railway to be electrified soon

NF Railway is actively working towards complete electrification of all un-electrified Broad Gauge routes in the zone. Electrification works are ongoing at Haldibari, the final station on the India-Bangladesh border...

along the New Jalpaiguri-Dhaka route. Additionally, the Katihar-Teznarayanpur section in Bihar is also being electrified, with these two sections totaling 63.74 route kilometers and expected to be completed soon. The NFR has already electrified significant portions of its jurisdiction, including 921.01 km in Assam, 9.58 km in Meghalaya, 6.00 km in Nagaland, 285.87 km in Bihar, and 744.726 km in West Bengal. Statutory inspections for the Katihar Division sections, namely Raninagar Jalpaiguri Junction—Haldibari (30.71 Route Kilometres) and Katihar Jn—Teznarayanpur (33.03 Route Kilometres), are expected shortly. The electrification works are being carried out in phases by IRCON, RITES, NFR/Construction, and CORE, aiming to enhance train mobility, strengthen the rail network in the northeast, reduce pollution, improve financial performance, facilitate seamless traffic, and increase average train speed, leading to better punctuality.

NF Railway zone mein sab un-electrified Broad Gauge routes ko 100% electrify karne ka target hai. Isse fossil fuels pe dependancy kam hogi aur Indian Railways ke 'Green Railways' banne ke mission mein madad milegi. hai. Bihar mein Katihar-Teznarayanpur section pe bhi kaam tezi se chal raha hai. Yeh dono sections, jo ki 63.74 route kilometers ke hain, jaldi hi complete hone wale hain. NFR ke jurisdiction mein, Assam mein 921.01 km, Meghalaya mein 9.58 km, Nagaland mein 6.00 km, Bihar mein 285.87 km aur West Bengal mein 744.726 km railway lines pe electrification ho chuka hai. N.F. Railway ke Katihar Division ke do sections, Raninagar Jalpaiguri Junction—Haldibari (30.71 Route Kilometres) aur Katihar Jn—Teznarayanpur (33.03 Route Kilometres) pe statutory inspections jaldi hone wali hain. IRCON, RITES, NFR/Construction aur CORE different sections mein electrification ka kaam phasewise kar rahe hain. Isse NFR mein trains ki mobility badhegi, north-eastern states mein rail network strong hoga, pollution kam hoga, railway ki financial performance improve hogi, traffic smooth chalega aur trains ki average speed badhegi, jisse punctuality aayegi.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
