This corridor will facilitate the transportation of coal to thermal power plants and boost freight transportation speed, reducing transit times. The 1337-kilometer corridor, spanning from Ludhiana in Punjab to West Bengal, was completed at a cost of 51 billion rupees. Meanwhile, Rajasthan is receiving its fourth Vande Bharat train. The train has already arrived in Jaipur and will be assembled at the Dheher Ka Balaji railway station. It is expected to operate between Jaipur and either Indore or Ahmedabad.
