URC Construction has been awarded the contract for this section at a cost of 596 crores. A tender for the construction of a 3.39-kilometer underground corridor and a 12.91-kilometer elevated corridor has been issued, but bids have not yet been opened. The second metro train is expected to arrive in Bhopal in the second week of January 2024, joining the first one which is currently undergoing safety trials. The underground tunnel, stretching 3.39 kilometers from Ara Mill to Sindhi Colony near Patra Pul, will be 20 meters below ground level. Two metro stations will be built near Bhopal railway station and Nadra bus stand, with direct access to these facilities via escalators.
