Smile, You’re With the PM and Your Train Isn’t on Time

The Central Railway zone in India has spent over Rs 1.65 crore on installing selfie booths at stations. The article points out the irony of prioritizing selfie booths over essential safety measures and calls out the Railway Minister's focus on optics rather than passenger safety.

India ke Central Railway zone mein, station pe selfie booths lagaane ke liye Rs 1.65 crore se zyada kharch kiya gaya hai. In booths mein, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ke 3D model ya cutouts hain, jiske saath log selfie le sakte hain. Lekin, article is kharch ko galat bata raha hai...

not that any train accident is good but a decreasing number certainly is. Its a massive achievement by all means. Recent upgrade of trains, services, connections does call for a joyous moment. A selfie point is not to take any political advantage, it makes you realize the person at PM level considers himself at the same level as you are. You don't like him, don't take selfie, simple. No one is forcing you. I think rail min has spent a lot more on infra development than you can even begin to imagine. Yes, there is lot more to be done, rest assured it will be done and you'll see the results in time to come. Stop begging for alms and post something constructive which leads to a contribution towards nation building rather than a negative, myopic view point probably borrowed from a whatsapp uni. Peace!!
