Following the incident, the railway department promptly dispatched a team to the site and initiated rescue and relief efforts. Track repairs are ongoing on Saturday. The railway also issued helpline numbers for passenger assistance: 744-2467171, 0744-2467172, 9001017097, 9414018692, and 9887143093.
