with the highest number of suicides were Kalyan (43) and Palghar (23). Experts attribute this rise to the perceived low chances of survival on railway tracks, but also highlight potential underreporting due to families' reluctance to classify deaths as suicides, fearing insurance implications. Psychiatrist Dr. Harish Shetty raised concerns about the increasing suicide rates, calling for a comprehensive approach to address the issue, including increased mental health awareness, crisis intervention teams, and staff training. He also highlighted the need to address socioeconomic factors like commuting stress, high living costs, and poor emotional connections within families.

Experts ka kehna hai ki railway track pe bachne ki kam chances honi iska ek reason hai, lekin unhone yeh bhi kaha ki family ki taraf se suicides classify karne se bachna bhi ek reason hai, kyonki woh insurance claims ke liye dartay hain. Psychiatrist Dr. Harish Shetty ne yeh badhti hui suicides rate ke bare mein chinta jataayi, aur unhone yeh issue address karne ke liye ek comprehensive approach ki baat ki, jismein mental health awareness badhana, crisis intervention teams aur staff training shamil hai. Unhone yeh bhi kaha ki commute ke pressure, zyada living costs aur family mein emotional connection ki kami jaise socioeconomic factors ko bhi address karna chahiye.
