This change applies to premium and superfast trains including Rajdhani, Vande Bharat, Jan Shatabdi, and Duronto, with the new title taking effect immediately. Train captains are now responsible for the overall management and operation of the train, including the safety and well-being of passengers. All train staff, including cleaners, electricians, AC maintenance staff, and pantry car staff, will report directly to the train captain. This directive also extends to outsourced staff, with private companies being informed about the change. Train captains will now oversee all aspects of the train, from cleanliness to catering services.

Stop ki exact date abhi tak announce nahi hui hai. Iske saath hi, railway officials ab long-distance trains pe chief ticket inspector ko 'train captains' naam de rahe hain. Yeh change Rajdhani, Vande Bharat, Jan Shatabdi aur Duronto jaise premium aur superfast trains pe apply hoga. New title abhi se effective hai. Train captains ab train ke operation aur management ke liye fully responsible honge, passengers ki safety aur well-being bhi include hai. Sab train staff, cleaners, electricians, AC maintenance staff, aur pantry car staff, train captain ko report karenge. Yeh directive outsourced staff ke liye bhi hai, private companies ko bhi iske bare mein bata diya gaya hai. Train captains ab train ke sab aspects, cleanliness se leke catering services tak, manage karenge.
