Carriage and Wagon workshops of N. F. Railway achieved remarkable performance

During February 2024, both the New Bongaigaon and Dibrugarh workshops under the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) significantly exceeded their maintenance targets for train coaches and goods wagons. upgrading 46 wagons with twin pipe air brakes. Dibrugarh workshop serviced 33 LHB and 34 ICF coaches, exceeding their target by a considerable margin. They overhauled 614 wheel sets, fitted 19 LHB AC coaches with fire detection systems, and modified the air brake system in 15 coaches. Their scrap disposal also increased significantly. Both workshops have undertaken infrastructure improvements to enhance their LHB coach refurbishment and POH capacity, regularly performing both periodical and intermediate overhauls.

trolleys mein convert kiya aur 46 wagons ko twin pipe air brakes se upgrade kiya. Dibrugarh workshop ne 33 LHB aur 34 ICF coaches ko service kiya, apne target ko kaafi zyada cross kiya. Unhone 614 wheel sets ko overhaul kiya, 19 LHB AC coaches mein fire detection system lagaaye aur 15 coaches mein air brake system ko modify kiya. Unka scrap disposal bhi kaafi badha. Dono workshops ne apni LHB coach refurbishment aur POH capacity badhane ke liye infrastructure improvements kiya hai, aur regularly periodical aur intermediate overhauls kar rahe hai.
