for the Constable position, it is 18 to 28 years. Candidates must be 10th pass for the Constable position and graduates for the Sub-Inspector position. A five-year age relaxation is provided for SC/ST candidates, and a three-year relaxation for OBC candidates. The starting salary for the Constable is INR 21,700, and for the Sub-Inspector is INR 35,400. The application fee is INR 500 for all candidates. However, INR 400 will be refunded to those who appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT) exam. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, women, minorities, and economically backward categories have to pay INR 250 as the application fee, which will be refunded after the CBT exam. The RRB will not refund the application fee to those who do not appear for the CBT exam.
