caused an estimated ₹2 lakh worth of damage, including an air conditioner and other appliances. Iqbal lives on the first floor, while his younger brother, retired senior section engineer of the Railways, Irshad ul Haq, lives on the ground floor. Local residents attempted to control the fire with water, and the Bank More police station in charge, Vakkar Hussain, arrived at the scene. Irshad stated that the fire damaged furniture and the air conditioner, and it is believed to have been caused by a short circuit.

Iqbal pehle tal par rehte hain, jabki unke chhote bhai, railway ke senior section engineer loco ke pad se VRS le chuke Irshad ul Haq, ground floor mein rehte hain. Dhuwan ki jaankari par sthaniy logon ne apne star se pani daal kar aag par kabu pane ka prayas kiya. Bank More ke thana prabhaari Vakkar Hussain mauke par pahunche. Irshad ne bataya ki aag se kuch furniture ke alawa AC mein aag lagi hai. Anuman lagaya ja raha hai ki short circuit se aag lagi hogi.
