passengers often left a significant amount of water unused in the one-liter bottles. Passengers can request additional half-liter bottles if needed. The initiative is being implemented across the country and has been rolled out on the Shatabdi and Vande Bharat trains departing from Bhopal. A total of approximately 1600 passengers travel daily on these trains, with around 800-900 on the Vande Bharat and Shatabdi to Delhi and 700-800 on the Vande Bharat to Rewa and Indore.

Indian Railways ne Vande Bharat aur Shatabdi trains mein paani ki bachaat karne ke liye ek nayi pehal shuru ki hai. Ab yaatriyon ko ek litre ki jagah aadha litre ki paani ki bottle di jaa rahi hai. Isse ek taraf ki yaatra mein har roz lagbhag 1.5 lakh litre paani...

bachne ka anumaan hai. Yeh faisla is baat ko dekhte hue liya gaya ki yaatri aksar ek litre ki bottle mein kaafi paani chhod dete hain. Yaatriyon ko zarurat padne par aadha litre ki bottle aur mil sakti hai. Yeh pehal poora desh mein shuru ki gayi hai aur Bhopal se chalne wali Shatabdi aur Vande Bharat trains mein bhi shuru ki gayi hai. In trains mein har roz lagbhag 1600 yaatri safar karte hain, jismein Vande Bharat aur Shatabdi se Delhi jaane wale 800-900 aur Vande Bharat se Rewa aur Indore jaane wale 700-800 yaatri hain.
