The station manager attributed the delay of the Cochin Express to issues originating from Cochin. In a separate incident, 16 confirmed ticket holders for the Gorakhpur-LTT Summer Special (01110) had their seats changed to RAC. This occurred because two AC Third class coaches were included in the train composition despite only 13 Economy class coaches being intended, leading to a mismatch in the number of confirmed seats. Passengers were eventually accommodated on alternative seats in other coaches.

Station manager ka kehna hai ki Cochin Express ka delay Cochin se hi hua hai. Dusri taraf, Gorakhpur-LTT Summer Special (01110) mein 16 passengers ke confirm tickets wale seat RAC mein badal gaye. Ye isliye hua kyunki train mein do AC Third class coaches daal diye gaye, jabki 13 Economy class coaches hone the, jisse confirm seats ki ghinti mein galti ho gayi. Passengers ko finally dusre coaches mein seat di gayi.
