The Kiul-Gaya rail route in Bihar is undergoing track doubling, with 129 kilometers of the line being converted to double track. A speed trial on the newly doubled track between Warisligunj and Nawaada stations is scheduled for June 10th, 2024. If successful, passenger trains will start running on the doubled track. The new track will also include a new station at Nawaada, which will have a dedicated platform for stopping trains. The project currently has only 18 kilometers of track remaining to be doubled. Once the entire line is doubled, travel time is expected to decrease, and train frequency is likely to increase.

ko Warisligunj aur Nawaada station ke beech new track par speed trial hone wala hai. Agar sab kuchh sahi raha toh passengers trains is new track par chalna start kar denge. New track par Nawaada mein ek new station bhi ban raha hai jahan par trains rukengi. Ab sirf 18 kilometers track double karne ke liye baaki hai. Jab poora line double ho jaayega toh travel time kam ho jaayega aur trains ki frequency bhi badh jaayegi.
