Kolkata Metro: মেট্রোয় বিরাট বদল! লন্ডন-সিঙ্গাপুরের মতো পরিষেবা মিলবে এবার কলকাতাতেও, যাতায়াত হবে আরও সহজ

The Kolkata Metro is upgrading its third line from steel to aluminum, which will reduce electricity costs, improve voltage drop issues, and increase train speeds. This upgrade will enable the metro to operate with a shorter interval, potentially reducing the current 5-minute interval to 2.5 minutes. This change is being implemented...

in phases starting with the line between Dum Dum and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar stations. The new aluminum line, similar to those used in London, Singapore, Berlin, and Moscow, is expected to be operational within two years. The upgrade will not be implemented on the newer lines between Netaji Subhash and Noapara, and Dakshineswar to Mahanayak Uttam Kumar. The Kolkata Metro plans to conduct most of the upgrade work at night, minimizing disruption to services.

Kolkata Metro mein bada change aa raha hai! London aur Singapore jaise services ab Kolkata mein bhi milenge, aur commute bhi aur aasan ho jaayega. Metro ke teesre line ko steel se aluminium mein badal diya ja raha hai, jisse bijli ka kharcha kam hoga, voltage drop ki problem kam hogi,...

aur train ki speed badh jaayegi. Is upgrade se metro ko kam interval pe chalane ki aazadgi milegi, isse 5 minute ka interval 2.5 minute tak kam ho sakta hai. Ye change Dum Dum aur Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station ke beech ki line se shuru kiya ja raha hai. New aluminium line, jo London, Singapore, Berlin, aur Moscow mein bhi istemal hoti hai, do saal ke andar operational ho jaayega. Ye upgrade Netaji Subhash aur Noapara, aur Dakshineswar se Mahanayak Uttam Kumar ke beech ki nayi line pe nahi kiya jaayega. Kolkata Metro ka plan hai ki ziyadatar upgrade ka kaam raat mein kiya jaaye, jisse services mein kam khalaal pade.
