Despite its importance for loco pilots who check engine power brakes and vacuums at the station, the closure remains unjustified, especially as Kangra district is being promoted as a tourism hub. Locals have demanded the reopening of the station.

Loco pilots ke liye bhi yeh station important hai kyonki woh yaha engine ki power brakes aur vacuum check karte hain. Iske bawajood, station ko band karna sahi nahi hai, especially jab Kangra district ko tourism hub banane ki koshish ho rahi hai. Logon ne station ko phir se kholne ki demand ki hai.
