The block involved the completion of 11 km of the 165.52 km electrified third line between Anuppur and Katni, a crucial part of the South East Central Railway Bilaspur Division. The work included commissioning the tripling of the 11 km line between Ghuguti and Mudaria stations, requiring non-interlocking work at the Mudaria station. The work, which lasted for a week, has resulted in the completion of nearly 97 km of the third line. During this summer season, the railways have also been conducting blocks on other lines, including Sikandrabad, Nagpur, Chakradharpur, and now Bhopal, impacting the operation of over 100 passenger trains. The cancellation of trains due to the block has resulted in the refund of over Rs. 1 crore to passengers. Passengers who had booked confirmed tickets faced difficulties during this period, with many forced to refund their tickets due to the cancellations.

more... तीसरी लाइन तैयार हो चुकी है। यह ब्लॉक 13 जून से शुरू हुआ था, जिसमें तीसरी लाइन के लिए इंटरलॉक सिस्टम बनाया जा रहा था। इससे कनेक्टिविटी बढ़ेगी और ट्रेनों की गति भी बढ़ेगी। इस ब्लॉक में 11 किमी लाइन तैयार हुई है, जो कि दक्षिण पूर्व मध्य रेलवे बिलासपुर मंडल के अनूपपुर और कटनी के बीच 165.52 किमी लंबी विद्युतीकृत तीसरी लाइन का हिस्सा है। घुंघुटी और मुदरिया स्टेशनों के बीच 11 किमी लाइन का ट्रिपलिंग करने के लिए मुदरिया स्टेशन में नॉन-इंटरलॉकिंग का काम किया गया। यह काम एक हफ्ते तक चला, जिसके बाद 97 किमी की तीसरी लाइन तैयार हो गई है। इस गर्मी के मौसम में, रेलवे ने और भी ब्लॉक लिए हैं, जैसे सिकंदराबाद, नागपुर, चक्रधरपुर, और अब भोपाल। इससे 100 से अधिक यात्री ट्रेनों का संचालन प्रभावित हुआ है। ब्लॉक के कारण ट्रेनें रद्द होने से, यात्रियों को 1 करोड़ से अधिक का रिफंड देना पड़ा है।
