Rs 20,000 per month, while hostels within institutions are already exempt. A uniform 12% GST will be levied on milk cans and carton boxes. To curb fraudulent input tax credit claims, the council mandated Aadhaar-based biometric authentication of applicants nationwide. The council referred the exemption of fertilizers from GST to a Group of Ministers (GoM) for rate rationalization, which will submit a report in August. The central government remains committed to including petrol and diesel under the GST but requires state consensus. Small taxpayers have been given an extension until June 30 to submit GSTR 4 returns for the financial year 2024-25. Interest and penalties for non-fraudulent demand notices will be waived. The council also recommended monetary limits for appeals filed by the department in GST Appellate Tribunal, High Courts, and the Supreme Court.

20,000 tak exempt hai, institutions ke andar ke hostels pehle se hi exempt hain. Milk cans aur carton boxes par 12% GST lagaya jaayega. Fake input tax credit claims ko rokne ke liye, council ne Aadhaar-based biometric authentication ko mandate kiya hai. Fertilizer sector ko GST se exempt karne ka recommendation rate rationalization ke liye Group of Ministers (GoM) ko diya gaya hai, jiska report August mein aayega. Central government petrol and diesel ko GST mein include karne ke liye committed hai, lekin state consensus ki jaroorat hai. Small taxpayers ko GSTR 4 returns submit karne ke liye financial year 2024-25 ke liye June 30 tak ka extension diya gaya hai. Non-fraudulent demand notices ke liye interest and penalties waive kar diye jayenge. Council ne GST Appellate Tribunal, High Courts, aur Supreme Court mein department dwara filed appeal ke liye monetary limit bhi recommend kiya hai.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
