The Vande Bharat Express, launched by PM Modi virtually from Gujarat, was scheduled to start its journey from Varanasi to Agra on Monday. The NER drivers protested citing railway regulations that state that their jurisdiction extends to Prayagraj and the train should be operated by them within their zone. They also raised concerns about unfamiliar routes and safety protocols being employed by NCR drivers.

Shukravaar ko schedule aaya aur somvaar se isko chalane ki tarikh ailan ki gayi. Iske baad dopahar 2:30 pe Varanasi station ke platform 8 pe Agra ke liye Vande Bharat train pahunchi. Issi waqt NER ke driver bhi pahuche aur train ko NCR ke driver se chalane ka virodh kiya.
Apne haathon mein takhtiyan aur chest pe kagaz se likhi maang leke pahunche NER ke chalako ne Vande Bharat Express ke aage track pe baith kar dharna dena start kiya. Kuchh der waha dharna dene ke baad platform 8 pe aa gaye aur waha dharna start kar diya. Train ko NCR ke driver aur guard se chalane ka virodh kiya.
Chalako ka kahna tha ki railway ke rules ke hisab se NER ka area Prayagraj tak hai. Waha tak Vande Bharat Express ko hum logo ko chalana chahiye. Is VIP train ko NER ke area mein bhi NCR ke chalako se chalaya ja raha hai. Kaha ki NER ka route aur safety protocols hum logo ko pata hai lekin hum logo ke haathon se jabarjan is train ko leke NCR ke chalako ke havale kiya ja raha hai.
