The Railway Ministry has also allocated 440 crore rupees for road overbridge projects, station renovations, CCTV installations, and medical facilities. The doubling of railway lines between Varanasi and Jhusi is complete, and the Prayagraj-Rambag-Jhusi and Janghai-Phaphamau lines are expected to be finished before the Kumbh Mela starts in January 2024.
