after passenger groups, including the Bharatiya Yatri Kendra (BYK), advocated for more counters to handle the increased demand. Previously, only two counters were operational, with one dedicated to VIPs and senior citizens. This resulted in long waiting times for the general public, particularly for cash transactions. The railway authorities have now opened all five booking windows, facilitating a smoother booking experience for travelers. The BYK hopes that this arrangement will be maintained throughout the year. It remains to be seen if this change will be permanent or a temporary solution implemented for the festive season.

decision ko Bharatiya Yatri Kendra (BYK) jaise yatri groups ne support kiya tha, jinhone zyada counters ki maang ki thi. Pehle, sirf do counters the, jisme ek VIPs aur senior citizens ke liye tha. Isse aam logon ko, khas kar cash transaction karne walon ko, lambi wait karni padti thi. Ab railway authorities ne sabhi panch booking windows khol diye hain, jisse yatriyon ko aasan booking experience mil raha hai. BYK ko ummeed hai ki ye arrangement saal bhar chalega. Ab dekhnā hai ki yeh badlav permanent hai ya sirf festive season ke liye hai.
