North Karnataka and Shimoga districts, aims to connect the Malnad region with North Karnataka, enhancing connectivity and economic development. The proposed route will be 170.92 km long, covering parts of North Kanara, Dharwad, Shimoga and Haveri districts, potentially requiring the acquisition of 512 hectares of land. The FLS will be followed by further surveys to determine the exact cost, traffic density, and other details. Upon completion, the line is expected to connect 16 stations, with the potential for significant economic benefits for the region.

Shimoga ke logon ki bahut saalon se yeh demand thi, aur yeh project Malnad region ko North Karnataka se connect karega, connectivity aur economic development ko boost karega. Yeh railway line 170.92 km lamba hoga, aur yeh North Kanara, Dharwad, Shimoga aur Haveri districts se hoke jaayega. Isme 512 hectares land ko acquire karna pad sakta hai. FLS ke baad, aur bhi surveys honge, jisme exact cost, traffic density aur other details ka pata lagega. Is project ke complete hone ke baad, isme 16 stations connect honge, aur isse is region ko bahut saara economic benefit milne ki ummeed hai.
