Indian Railways: क्या है कवच सुरक्षा और यह कैसे काम करती है? जानिए

Indian Railways has implemented a safety system called Kavach, an Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system, to enhance railway safety. Developed in India, Kavach works by coordinating with train tracks and trains to prevent accidents. It continuously monitors train speed and position, alerting operators in case of any potential danger. Kavach can...

also automatically stop trains when necessary. This system has been instrumental in reducing railway accidents from 473 in 2000-01 to 40 in 2023-24. The Indian Railways plans to deploy Kavach on 44,000 kilometers of track within the next five years. As of 2023, the technology has been implemented on 301 locomotives and 273 railway stations. The full implementation of Kavach requires track electrification and optical fiber communication networks. The government has established a National Railway Safety Fund, initially allocated 1 trillion rupees in 2017 and increased to 450 billion rupees in 2023, to support railway safety measures.

Indian Railways ne ek safety system launch kiya hai, jisko Kavach ke naam se jaana jaata hai. Ye Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system hai, jo India mein hi develop kiya gaya hai. Kavach kaam kaise karta hai? Ye train tracks aur trains ke saath coordinate karta hai, jisse accidents ko rokne...

mein madad milti hai. Ye system continuously monitor karta hai train ki speed aur position, aur agar koi potential danger hota hai, toh operator ko alert karta hai. Agar jaruri hota hai, toh Kavach train ko automatically bhi rok sakta hai. Is system se railway accidents mein bahut kami aayi hai. 2000-01 mein 473 accidents hue the, lekin 2023-24 mein ye sankhya ghatkar 40 reh gayi. Indian Railways ki plan hai ki aagle paanch saalon mein 44,000 kilometer track pe Kavach ko deploy kiya jaaye. 2023 tak 301 locomotives aur 273 railway stations pe yeh technology implement ho chuki hai. Kavach ko fully implement karne ke liye track electrification aur optical fiber communication network ki zarurat hai. Government ne National Railway Safety Fund bhi banaya hai, jisko 2017 mein 1 trillion rupees allocate kiya gaya tha, aur 2023 mein yeh rakam 450 billion rupees tak badha di gayi hai. Isse railway safety measures ko support milta hai.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
