Chitradurga, a historic city in central Karnataka, lacks a direct railway connection to the state capital, Bengaluru. Despite a two-decade-long demand for a direct line, the Chitradurga Railway project remains incomplete. The proposed Davanagere-Chitradurga-Tumkur railway line was announced three years ago, but land acquisition in Chitradurga and Hiriyur areas is stalled....

While land acquisition has been completed in Davanagere to Bharamasagara, the project's progress is slow, with local residents expressing frustration over the delay. The railway project, estimated at 1,900 crores, has become a political tool, with politicians promising a direct railway line during elections and then neglecting it later. The lack of rail connectivity has hindered business development and tourism in Chitradurga. The article urges the central and state governments to expedite the completion of the direct railway line.

Chitradurga, Karnataka mein ek historical city hai, par usko Bengaluru se direct rail connection nahin hai. Do decade se log direct line ka demand kar rahe hain, par Chitradurga Railway project abhi bhi incomplete hai. Davanagere-Chitradurga-Tumkur railway line ke plan ko three years pehle announce kiya gaya tha, par Chitradurga aur...

Hiriyur mein land acquisition aise hi aada hai. Davanagere se Bharamasagara tak land acquisition toh complete ho gaya hai, par project aage badhna bahut slow hai, aur local residents frustrated hain. This railway project, 1,900 crore ka, ek political tool ban gaya hai, politicians elections mein direct railway line ka promise karte hain aur baad mein neglect kar dete hain. Railway connectivity nahin hone ki wajah se Chitradurga mein business development aur tourism pe bahut bura effect pada hai. Is article mein central aur state governments se request ki gayi hai ki wo direct railway line ko jaldi complete karne ke liye action lein.
