final survey for the Hisar-Jakhal railway line will be conducted to make it a double line. The bypass is designed to separate freight trains from passenger trains, enhancing efficiency and reducing delays. The budget also includes funds to complete the foot over bridge at Hisar railway station and install a lift and escalators to facilitate passenger movement. Hisar railway station is undergoing a major renovation with new buildings expected to be completed by the end of this year. Hisar currently has rail connections to major cities like Amritsar, Coimbatore, Kota, Gorakhpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Mumbai, Katra, Haridwar, Agartala, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ludhiana, Bathinda, and Delhi. The demand for a railway connection from Hisar to Chandigarh has been long-standing and is expected to be realized with the completion of the Hisar to Jind railway line, for which a survey has already been conducted.
