year (2023-24), the SER transported 173.07 million tonnes of goods, which is 3.54% more than the same period of the previous fiscal year. This freight transport generated a revenue of ₹15,656.42 crore. 43.51 million tonnes of coal was loaded from the Sardega station of the Chakradharpur rail division, generating a revenue of ₹4,784.48 crore. This is 7.03% more than the same period of the previous fiscal year. Besides coal and iron ore, the SER also transported raw iron, finished steel, cement, fertilizers, petroleum products, etc. The Chakradharpur rail division generates the largest revenue from freight transportation among the four divisions of the SER: Kharagpur, Ranchi, Adra, and Chakradharpur.

varsh (2023-24) mein April se January tak, SER ne 173.07 million ton maal ki dhuलाई ki hai, jo pichhle varsh ki isi avdhi ki tulna mein 3.54% zyada hai. Is dhuलाई se ₹15,656.42 crore ka rajasv arjit hua hai. Chakradharpur rail mandal ke Sardega station se 43.51 million ton coal load kiya gaya hai, jisse ₹4,784.48 crore ki kamaai hui hai. Ye pichhle varsh ki isi avdhi ki tulna mein 7.03% zyada hai. Iske alaava SER ne iron ore, coal, kachcha loha, tayyar ispat, cement, urvarak, petroleum product aadi ki dhuलाई bhi ki hai. SER ke andar Kharagpur, Ranchi, Adra aur Chakradharpur rail mandal aate hain, lekin inme se maal dhuलाई se rajasv arjan ka sabse bada kaam Chakradharpur rail mandal karta hai.
