station in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday morning, carrying 103 devotees and a total of 972 bookings. This train was flagged off by BJP leader and former Railway Minister O. Rajagopal. Prior to this, on Monday, the first batch of devotees travelled from Secunderabad, Hyderabad, on an 'Aastha Special' train carrying 1,346 pilgrims. Around 1,400 devotees from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, have also reached Ayodhya via 'Aastha Special' to visit the Ram Temple. This train was flagged off on Wednesday night. These special trains, carrying 20 sleeper coaches and capable of accommodating around 1,400 passengers, have been introduced to facilitate devotees' journeys to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Over 200 such 'Aastha Special' trains have been operated since the installation of Ram Lalla's idol in the grand Ram temple on January 22nd.
