A new MEMU passenger train on the Tata Badampahar line was inaugurated on Friday. The train, which was inaugurated online by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, arrived at Haldipur station at 12:30 PM. The new train will provide convenience for villagers travelling between Jharkhand and Odisha, particularly those who work in Jamshedpur. The train departs from Tatanagar at 6:30 PM and arrives at Badampahar at 9:00 PM. The train leaves Badampahar at 9:15 PM and reaches Tatanagar at 11:30 PM. The village head has requested the DRM of Chakradharpur Division to provide tickets for passengers travelling from Haldipur to Rourkela and Gua. Currently, tickets are only available for Tatanagar and Sidhi stations.
