Gidhava, Nagri in Dhamtari district, is currently the in-charge of the Mandhar Hasoud RPF post in Raipur. Her husband, Aman Sahu, is the in-charge of the Rajnandgaon City Kotwali. Sahu is a skilled Pandavani singer, having learned the art from Padma Vibhushan Teejan Bai. She has performed on various platforms, including Delhi, and has received numerous awards for her work. She is particularly excited about performing in Ayodhya, where she will also have the opportunity to visit the Shri Ramlala temple. Sahu has been passionate about Pandavani since childhood and has been performing since receiving training from Teejan Bai in 1993-94. She has also balanced her passion with her police career, serving in the Railway Protection Force and helping many people, for which she has been recognized. She believes in minimizing time off from work to ensure she can travel for Pandavani performances when invited.
