The cancelled trains included the Delhi Howrah Purva Express between Asansol and Patna, the Dhanbad Patna Intercity, the Buxar Tata Super, the Buxar Nagaland Express, and the Dhanbad Gaya Grand Chord line trains. Many trains experienced delays, causing inconvenience to passengers. Despite prior information, the number of passengers at JasiDIh and other stations was lower than usual, as some people postponed their travel. Long-distance passengers were seen waiting for their trains for hours at the stations. Ticket counters witnessed a surge in ticket refunds and inquiries. The mega block also led to the cancellation of passenger trains to JasiDIh, Madhupur, and Asansol. According to railway sources, the Akal Takht train was delayed by 2 hours, the Kolkata Jhansi train by 1.5 hours, and other important trains faced delays. The Gorakhpur Asansol JasiDIh train stood stationary for hours, while the Vasco da Gama JasiDIh train was terminated at Madhupur. Railway sources revealed that construction work is underway on the old railway bridge between Asansol and Jhajha. After completion, the speed of trains on this route will increase. Earlier, a trial run of LHB coaches at 130 km/h between Asansol and Jhajha was successful.

Kai trains late chalne ki wajah se passengers ko bahut pareshani hui. Pehle se bataye jaane ke bawjood, JasiDIh aur dusre stations pe passengers ki sankhya usual se kam thi, kyunki kuchh log apni travel postpone kar diye. LambI duri ke passengers stations pe ghanto tak apni trains ka intezaar karte hue dikhe. Ticket counters pe ticket waapis karne aur puchhtaach centre pe passengers ki bhid thi. Mega block ki wajah se JasiDIh, Madhupur aur Asansol jaane wali passenger trains bhi cancel kar di gayi. Rail sources ke mutabik, Akal Takht train 2 ghante, Kolkata Jhansi train 1.5 ghante late chali, aur dusri important trains bhi late chali. Gorakhpur Asansol JasiDIh train ghanto tak khari rahi, aur Vasco da Gama JasiDIh train ka operation Madhupur tak khatam kar diya gaya. Rail sources ne bataya ki Asansol aur Jhajha ke beech purane railway bridge pe construction ka kaam chal raha hai. Kaam khatam hone ke baad is route pe trains ki speed aur badhayi jaayegi. Pehle Asansol aur Jhajha ke beech LHB coaches ka 130 km/h ki speed se trial run successful raha hai.
