HURL, a fertilizer company, has set a new record by producing over 10 lakh tonnes of urea in 17 months. The Indian Railways also achieved a remarkable feat by successfully transporting the same amount of urea via freight trains. This achievement has made HURL the first public sector company in the...

Northeast Railway zone to pay a whopping 100 crore rupees in freight charges. In recognition of this, Northeast Railway has awarded HURL the prestigious Platinum category, which will entitle the company to additional facilities. HURL is now gearing up to export urea, with both HURL and the Railways preparing for this venture. Urea, which was previously only supplied to districts in Uttar Pradesh, will be exported to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal within the next few months. HURL will transport the urea to these countries via rail. The urea plant, built at a cost of 8,603 crore rupees over 600 acres, uses natural gas and has a maximum production capacity of 3850 metric tonnes per day and 12.7 lakh metric tonnes per year. Even with some months of production halt, the plant managed to maintain production without any significant reduction. Currently, the plant produces 3125 metric tonnes of urea daily. The first and largest 'Gati Shakti' cargo terminal of Northeast Railway is located within the HURL premises at Nakha.

HURL ne 17 mahine mein 10 lakh tonne se zyada urea ka production kiya hai, aur railway ne bhi itna hi urea freight train se successfully dhulaya hai. Isse HURL NER (Northeast Railway) mein 100 crore ki railway charges dene wala pehla public sector company ban gaya hai. Iske liye NER...

ne HURL ko Platinum category diya hai, jisse HURL ko aur facilities milegi. Ab HURL urea export bhi karega, jiske liye HURL aur railway dono taiyar hain. Urea, jo abhi tak UP ke district mein hi supply hota tha, kuch mahine mein Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, aur Nepal ko export hoga. HURL yeh urea railway se hi in deshon ki seema tak bhejega. HURL ka urea plant 600 acre mein 8,603 crore rupees ki lagat se bana hai, aur yeh natural gas based hai. Iski production capacity 3850 metric tonnes per day aur 12.7 lakh metric tonnes per year hai. Kuch mahine production band raha, par production mein kami nahin aai. Abhi plant 3125 metric tonnes urea per day produce kar raha hai. NER ka pehla aur sabse bada 'Gati Shakti' cargo terminal Nakha ke HURL premises mein ban chuka hai.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
