after the accident on Monday morning around 8:55 AM, but resumed at 7:30 AM today. Up line operations resumed at 5:40 PM yesterday. The affected section saw several train cancellations, diversions, and reschedulings. The 15769 Alipurduar-Mariani Intercity Express on June 19 and the 15770 Mariani-Alipurduar Intercity Express on June 20 have been canceled. The 15077 Kamakhya-Gomti Nagar Express, scheduled to depart on June 18, has been rescheduled to depart at 00:00 on June 19, 2024, instead of the original 20:00. The Commissioner of Railway Safety, Janak Kumar Garg, has initiated a statutory inquiry into the incident under Section 114 of the Railway Act of 1989.
