All five ticket booking counters at Nagpur Railway Station are now operational, much to the relief of travelers who previously faced long queues due to only two counters being open. Yatri Kendra (BYK) had been advocating for more ticket booking windows, citing the long wait times caused by only one window being available for digital and cash payments. Travelers now have a smoother booking experience, with the hope that the system will remain in place year-round. Previously, the limited windows and the inconvenience of digital refund processes led to many travelers opting for offline cash payments, which also resulted in idle staff at the QR counter. The decision to open all counters is a positive development for travelers during the festive season.
