The young man remained unresponsive. Railway staff informed the Pathardih police and GRP. The Pathardih Station in-charge, Pawan Chandra Pathak, arrived at the scene with his team, splashed water on the young man's face, and brought him to consciousness. The police identified the young man as Kuldeep Kumar, 22, a resident of Bhaura Handi Patti Kankanpur, using his Aadhar card found in his wallet. After questioning, the young man was released. Kuldeep refused to explain how he ended up there. The young man was found lying with his head on the Sindri-Dhanbad passenger line, near the Pathardih PP cabin, indicating a possible suicide attempt. The driver's quick thinking saved the young man's life. The Pathardih Station in-charge thanked the driver for his alertness.

Police ne uske purse mein mila Aadhar card se ladke ki pehchan 22 saal ke Kuldeep Kumar, Bhaura Handi Patti Kankanpur ka resident, ke roop mein ki. Puchhtaach ke baad ladke ko chhod diya gaya. Kuldeep ne batane se inkaar kar diya ki woh wahaan kaise pahuncha. Ladka Pathardih PP cabin ke paas Sindri-Dhanbad passenger line pe sir rakh ke pada hua tha, jaise ki woh aatmahatya karne ki koshish kar raha tha. Engine driver ki soojhboojh ke kaaran ladke ki jaan bach gayi aur ek ghar ka chirag bujhne se bach gaya.
