It will include 20 third-class AC coaches and two AC coaches for differently-abled passengers. The train will be operated using the existing rack of the Ranchi-New Delhi Garib Rath, allowing for the use of the older rack for the Dhanbad route. The railway had initially proposed to run the train from Dhanbad to Udhampur but currently has permission to operate only till Jammu via Delhi. There is a possibility of running the train regularly if passenger response is favorable. The fare for the Dhanbad-Jammu special train is cheaper compared to the third-class AC fare of the Jammu Tawi Express. The fare for the Dhanbad-Delhi leg is also cheaper than the third-class AC fare of the Netaji Express.

Jammu Tawi Express se Dhanbad se Jammu tak ka third AC ka kirya 1810 rupees hai jabki Garib Rath special ke yaatri ko 1575 rupees chukana hoga. Dhanbad se Delhi tak Netaji Express ka third AC ka kirya 1490 rupees hai. Garib Rath special se Delhi pahunchne ke liye 1285 rupees chukana hoga.
